Weedon Island Preserve’s Cultural and Natural History Center
invites you to experience a Virtual Tour of Artifacts. We are very proud of this exhibit – and of the remarkable partnership that made it possible. The images and interpretive journey through this important collection of Weedon Island and other Florida Native American artifacts is presented through the eyes of Native American students. Experts from the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, Haskell Indian Nations University, the University of South Florida, the University of Florida, University of Texas, Pinellas County and many others contributed their skills to make this exhibit and Weedon Island – a Place to Remember.
